Today we went to the park to visit LeAnna's "ducks" - they went to their new home on Saturday ... Afterwards we played in the park!

Nate took the kids swimming today at Sylvias ... I'm sure that was the best "moment of the day" - however, I wasn't there to capture it ... So ... the next best moment was this giant hot fudge sundae at Sportsman's Grill in Bellemeade!

Monday's have been exciting this summer - since it's when we choose our Adventure for the following Friday ... looks like the Monkey's Treehouse this week!

First "accident" from the "new ride" - hit a garden hose, flew over the top of it. Really not that bad, more of a burn - but heavily milked it since she hadn't been with Mommy in a couple of days.

Today is Papaw's birthday ... we celebrated with him this evening!

Today was library day ... we were able to catch story time and check out some books at the main library downtown. It's the best ... we love going there! This was Miquela's first time there and she loved it!

I had been promising LeAnna we would go to G G's Cupcakes ... so after library time - that's what we did ... it was our first time ... very cool ... not very frugal though ... I think the $3 per cupcake was to cover the tub of icing used on each one! We actually waited until we got home and in the backyard before eating them!

Adventure for the week was drawn today since LeAnna was at Granny's house on Monday ... Renaissance Center was the lucky draw ... however, after calling - there is nothing on the schedule for this week except a play at 7p Friday evening ... which doesn't work for us. SO ... she is going to do something else on Friday instead. We're are learning "flexibility".

Miquela and LeAnna decided to become "clothing designers". This was one of their happy moments today.

Miquela and LeAnna had a great day together ... so very thankful for these "tea parties" moments ... because sooner than I care to think about, it will be dinner parties and double dates!

This is LeAnna "humoring" me just one more time! I don't do this as often as I used to, but for some odd reason, I like to take a picture on Sunday morning before church ... it has become a "tradition" of some sort, although not as often as I would like.

Today was a long, hot, fun-filled day ... and this was the "end" of it! We had play practice at church for almost 4 hours and afterwards we went to dinner ... the kids are showing their "long-hot-summer day-I am tired and want to go home," looks!

The Bicentennial Mall was the "adventure" today ... hmmm ... wouldn't you know ... and "my luck", it was under construction in most areas ... and the only "water" activity was the little bit dripping off this ball replica of earth! oh well ... we had lunch,went to Farmer's Market, then home to play on the slip n' slide!

Zach's baseball team is in a tournament ... so we went out to support this evening ... the game wasn't over until 10:00pm - so everyone was a 'little bit' tired!

Tonight was a service of honoring our graduates at church. Very special evening - and she FINALLY got "cake"! I think that was her most exciting moment about graduation - that she was going to have a cake! She's talked about it for two weeks - since graduation at school.
