Well ... this is it ... 81 Moments has reached completion.

Today was registration at school ... and wouldn't you know, I forgot to take my camera! However ... we captured two special moments today ...

first ... enjoying her long awaited school year book from Kindergarten ...

and second ... her "last request" on her last day of Summer 2008 ...

Today was a promised visit to Maggie Moo's ... LeAnna is enjoying "Cotton Candy" ice cream.

A day of church, lunch at Tequila's and church again ... long day and the camera didn't react when "auto pilot" was requested .... OOPS! No picture today!

It was a day of High School Musical on stage at the Renaissance Center and bowling this evening ... which made for a fun filled day.

Today was LeAnna's LAST Adventure of the Summer ... it was to Beech Bend in Kentucky. It ended up being what I called our "Batson Family Summer 2008 Vacation" ... hey, if you can't take a week - take 6 hours - right?!

Introducing "Snowflake" that was found at Granny and Papaw's today ... LeAnna called me today and said, "Guess what? Can I bring it home and keep it?" ... not having a clue what she was talking about! For the record - Daddy says no! But I'm not the one telling her!

LeAnna was at the house most of the day, then ended up with Mom at work for a while and then to Granny's house to spend the night ... so ... needless to say ... I didn't get a picture today ...

This was the big event today of what LeAnna "had to do" ... not sure what brought this about ... but thought it was funny ... She told me what to type and she's going to post it on her bedroom door.

LeAnna was one of the "little pigs" at Children's Church today ... of course, her house got blown down by the big bad wolf!

LeAnna found an old box at Nana's of some special things from when she was a baby ... she loved looking through this box "digging up memories for Mommy"!

Today was the last day of Camp Meeting ... we are all so tired ... This was taken tonight around midnight ... winding down from all the activity of kids camp!

Celebrating Dawson's 9th birthday this evening ... they had so much fun ... playing on the playground, riding bikes, eating pizza and cake, swimming in the river ... a fun evening in honor of Dawson!

Boating with friends this evening ... road down the river about an hour to River Front Park, docked, walked downtown to eat and then road the boat back to our van.

LeAnna's "Adventure" for today was miniature golf ... a few friends were able to tag along with us ... it sure was hot and muggy but everyone had a great time ...oh and for the record - Brayden won!

Wacky Bear Factory made a little bit more money today when "Lindsey" was born! One very cool thing "unlike" Build A Bear ... is that the little heart they put inside of the bear - you can actually see "blink" red at a steady pace. Very cool ... also ... they asked LeAnna to make a wish when they put the heart in ... her wish was ... "I wish for a big cake!" ... alrighty then ... ha! She loves cake!

We went swimming this morning and this afternoon ... this evening we went to the beach ... and LeAnna decided to write "LeAnna Batson 2008" in the sand.
